Creative City

Because I grew up in New York City with parents who both work in "creative" fields, I am biased. I have always seen the city as a place where creativity thrives and one of the most obvious places for someone creative to live and work.
New York is home to some of the most creative people in the world. It is right behind Silicon Valley as the second highest center for venture capital-backed start-up companies. It is intertwined with architecture, art. New York has built an economy of creativity alongside the largest financial world. As a city, it has come to recognize creativity as a precursor for innovation and uses the foundations (both physically and socially) of the city to expand.
New York is open to so many creative outlets including art, music, publishing, and more...just to name a few.
